Appalachian Ranger District Office and Work Center Janitorial Services

07.29.2026 Amendment 1 is issued to update the Statement of Work wording on page 8 section 4(a) and page 9 section 4(a), and to incorporate Attachment 8 – Questions and Answers into the solicitation; all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12444126Q0035 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Appalachian Ranger District Janitorial Services.

Intent of this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Janitorial Services to be performed for the USDA Forest Service, Pisgah National Forest, Appalachian Ranger District. The Period of Performance on the BPA will consist of base period and four 12-months ordering periods. The BPA does not obligate funds; the Government is obligated only to the extent of authorized purchases actually made under the BPA. There will be five (5) individual (annual) ordering periods which will obligate funds on BPA Call orders.

Either party (Government or Awardee) may terminate this agreement at any time. A 30-day notice must be provided in writing to terminate this agreement. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561720. The small business size standard is $22M This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Historical Data (for informational purposes only): The previous contract number is 12444121D0015 and Linda Hensley is the incumbent. We have awarded five task orders over the last five years for a total of $73,120.50.
