Florida Heritage BPA - Archeology Florida

The USDA Forest Service (FS), Procurement & Property Services (PPS), East is issuing this synopsis as a means of complying with the USDA’s policy in the Contracting Desk Book, SUBPART 413.3—SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION METHODS, 413.303 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).

The USDA FS intends on awarding a competitive BPA Call Order against multiple award schedule BPA for Florida Heritage BPA - Archeology Florida located at USDA’s Contract Portal, awarded against solicitation number: These areas have been identified by ONF timber personnel for timber harvest operations, road reconstruction, as well as other management actions.

The contractor shall conduct surveys to locate archaeological sites and historic properties within specified parcels of ONF property (referred to as “stands:) proposed for ground-disturbing activities including, but not limited to, mechanized fuels-reduction, drum roller-chopping, site-preparation, manual and mechanized tree-felling, dragging, skidding, decking, loading of timber, etc. Digital data files (GIS/GPS) for baseline shovel test locations (excluding optional bounding shovel tests as required in Sect.

2.2.1 and5.4.3) will be provided to the contractor at the time of the pre-work meeting associated with this BPA. This is not a solicitation. This synopsis notification of intent to award a BPA Call order does not constitute a request for proposals or submission of any information in response to this notification.

This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for call orders under the Florida Heritage BPA - Archeology Florida Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for USFS with agreement numbers 12444123A0015 through 12444123A0018 and 12467020A0026 and 12467020A0028. There are currently 6 businesses that will receive this solicitation. The Call Order shall be issued via email to those companies listed on the BPA. Any changes to the Call Order RFQ shall also be emailed to those companies listed on the BPA.
