VEGETATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Description: The USDA Forest Service (FS), Procurement & Property Services (PPS), East is issuing this synopsis as a means of complying with the USDA’s policy in the Contracting Desk Book, SUBPART 413.3—SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION METHODS, 413.303 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).

The USDA FS intends on awarding a competitive BPA Call Order against multiple award schedule BPA for Vegetation Management Services located at USDA’s Contract Portal, awarded against solicitation number: 12444122R0007 to perform wildlife support services to include but not limited to disking, mowing, invasive plant treatments (e.g., mastication and herbicides), clearing (i.e., reclaiming openings by dozer or pushing/removing vegetation), day-lighting (removing limbs and/or vegetation from opening edges or along roads to allow sunlight to ground), fertilizing/liming, planting, gate installation, wildlife disking, and equipment rental activities.

This is not a solicitation. This synopsis notification of intent to award a BPA Call order does not constitute a request for proposals or submission of any information in response to this notification. This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for call orders under the NC/ SC Vegetation Management Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for USFS with agreement numbers 124441222A003 through 12444122A0029. There are currently 9 businesses that will receive this solicitation.

The Call Order shall be issued via email to those companies listed on the BPA. Any changes to the Call Order RFQ shall also be emailed to those companies listed on the BPA. Point of Contact is randall.taylor@usda.gov.
