Under $20,000 Purpose: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The USDA Forest Service is seeking quotes for the Sheltowee Trace Section/Wintergreen Trail Bridge Replacement project.

This solicitation is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures as outlined in FAR Part 13 and AGAR Part 413, which aim to reduce administrative costs and promote efficiency in contracting. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-05.

Important Notes: Interested vendors are encouraged to review the complete solicitation package, which includes the bid schedule, scope of work, specifications, exhibits, and all other relevant terms and conditions. A pre-proposal site visit will not be organized by the Forest Service. Offerors are responsible for understanding the site conditions and should not rely on a site visit for proposal preparation. This project is set aside exclusively for small business concerns, in accordance with FAR 19.502-2 and AGAR 419.502-2, to support small business participation in federal contracting.
