Roadside Mowing Daniel Boone National Forest

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as an Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-06. (iv) This procurement is set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 115310 and the Small Business Size Standard is 11.5M.

Description of Requirement: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and incidentals necessary to mow Forest Service roadsides and in accordance with these specifications and the provisions of the Contract. Requirements contract(s) is expected to result from this solicitation. The contract has a base year (2025) with options for two additional years (2026 and 2027).

LOCATION The work areas are located within the four Ranger Districts of the Daniel Boone National Forest. Maps or descriptions of District specific roads to be mowed will be provided with each task order issued. Actual miles to be mowed will be based on awarded price per mile and money available at times of need.
