Replace guardrail standard details with latest CDOT standard M-606-1 dated 03/05/20, as attached. Adjust guardrail height to 31” to meet new CDOT and FHWA standards for Midwest Guardrail Systems. Adjust wooden block from 8” to 12” thickness to meet new CDOT and FHWA standards for Midwest Guardrail Systems. Include transition from new guardrail installation height to marry up with existing bridge rail elevation.

Scope of Work: This project consists of five road bridges that are to be rehabilitated and have approach guardrails installed. The table below lists bridge mile posts and descriptions as well as roadway features that may affect project access and an excavation disposal area location. Refer to Solicitation Package.
