The Boise National Forest is soliciting quotes for the rebuild of the engine of fleet vehicle EN4905, a 2013 International 4400 SBA 4x2 truck with a DT/Maxxforce DT 300HP/2400 GOV, VIN 1HTMKAAL5DH297948. Engine serial number is 1HTMKAAL5DH297948. Work required is supplying parts and rebuilding the vehicle engine due to failed internal components. The truck produced malfunction indicators light (MIL) and lost power while pushing excess fluid out the engine crankcase breather.

The vehicle had to be towed to the nearest shop where they performed a general diagnostic and found that the engine needs to be overhauled. The government has the vehicle is currently located at McCandless Trk Center 701 E 1st ST- Cheyenne, Wyoming 820071666. The awarded business will transport and accept the truck at the repair facility, inspect and order necessary parts for the repair no later than five (5) business days after award of contract.
