Roxanne.d.anderson@usda.gov Description: PROJECT SCOPE Road 6590 Road Reconstruction, culvert installation, and surfacing on Zarembo Island. The work will consist of roadway reconditioning, culvert installation, the development of a Government furnished material source, and the hauling and spreading of Government furnished aggregate surfacing material. Contractor shall be responsible for removal of all replaced CMP culvert from Forest Service land.

PROJECT LOCATION This project is located on the Zarembo Island road system, a remote road system of single lane forest roads with no community road connection. Zarembo Island is on the Wrangell Ranger District, approx. 12 miles west of Wrangell Alaska. Access to Zarembo Island is by air or sea, with 2 USFS Marine Access Facilities (MAF), consisting of a bulkhead and a dock.
