July 27, 2024 DESCRIPTION: Base Bid work is the reconstruction of Wukuklook Trail. Major work items include the demolition of approx. 0.3 mile of existing boardwalk and other wood trail structures, and installation of trail structures such as aggregate surfacing, stone retaining wall, and a rest area. The trailhead is located 35 road miles southeast of Hoonah on the east side of Chichagof Island. The trail begins at the parking lot/trailhead, mile 25.3 on forest road 8530.
