Description: This virtual Industry Day addresses the upcoming Forest Service Helicopter transportation solicitation opportunity. This requirement will be for a non-personal services contract to provide helicopter transportation of materials & supplies (<5000 pounds) and occasional heavy equipment (not exceeding 10,000 pounds) between staging areas and designated work sites for various Ranger Districts on the Chugach National Forest, Alaska.

This requirement will not include passenger transportation and will be for materials and equipment only. Join Forest Service staff to learn more about this activity and to discuss: Request for feedback on the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) to be posted later in December 2024. Industry standards for billing that allows for loads of different weights. How much advance notice for scheduling is typically needed. Coordination of pickup & delivery sites.
