This project is to include the delivery of 15,000 units of rigid seedling tubes, 193,500 shade card wickets and 193,500 shade card envelopes. The product will be used to provide animal damage control for recently planted seedlings. The product includes a single component: 4 inch x 20 inch rigid seedlnig tube May also accept 4 inch x 18 inch rigid seedling tubes, although 4 inch x 20 inch is the preferable size. Rigid tubes constructed of polyethylene and polyproplylene material.Tubes must have diamond mesh.

These tubes prevent browse damage from wildlife and cattle if properly installed. Product must photo degrade when exposed to sunlight over a period of 3 to 5 years. Must be delivered in boxes of 250 to 500 and secured on pallets to allow for loading/unloading with a forklift. 8 inch x 12 inch Mesh Shade Envelope Consists of two components: 1) 8 inch x 12 inch photo-degradable, black polyolefin mesh envelope, and 2) a 12 gauge, 18 inch x 8 inch x 18 inch (legs) wire wicket.

Provides a shade factor of approximately 80 percent.Pin size mesh openings allow for wind passage.Mesh envelope may degrade in approximately 5 years. Wire wicket may begin to degrade in approximately 5 years. The product will be used to anchor rigid seed tubes to the ground around our planted seedlings. The product includes a single component. All items will be delivered to the Ochoco Tree Cooler located at NE Ranger Station Loop Prineville, OR 97754. A map of the delivery location is included as an attachment.
