“The Agricultural Marketing Service has posted a Draft Supplement 512 Fish and Fishery Products August 2024. Updates include:

combining FPPS's for Atlantic Fish Fillets, Pacific Seafood Items, Wild Caught Shrimp and Walleye Fillets, weight adjustments for Ocean Perch and Pacific Whiting, product name updated to remove groundfish from Atlantic fillet portions, raw material must be maintained below 0 degrees F for no more than 12 months, checkloading by contractor requirement, vessel trip registration verbiage adjusted, Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP) allowable in cooked shrimp in amount to retain moisture, Nutrition Facts panel optional on shipping container, requirement for tracking catch/fishing location, updated allergen statement, finished product label must be identified with Grade A Shield and graded accordance with NOAA/SIP requirements."
