04/01/2025 End Performance Time: 07/01/2026 Scope of Contract This contract is for Payment Units 1A, 1B, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, in the Boulder Pine Timber Sale. It involves timber marking and volume estimation of approximately 359 acres, broken down by the following descriptions: (1) PINE THINNING (even-age) (Marking & Cruising) All payment units: approximately 359 acres These stands are third, fourth, and fifth entries, and generally are heavier to sawtimber-sized trees.

The objectives are to remove high risk trees and thin the remainder of the stand to the desired residual basal area and spacing specifications. Skid trails are generally in place from previous harvest. When applicable and at the discretion of the COR, marking objectives include establishing skid trails prior to thinning to the desired residual basal area and spacing guidelines between trails.

This sale can be accessed from the following directions: The units in this sale split up in blocks to the south and to the north, but are generally located south of the town of Doty, Wisconsin near Boulder Lake. The south portion of sale area is south of County Highway W in Oconto County south of Boulder Lake and the North half is East of County Highway T in Oconto County, north of Boulder Lake. It can be accessed off of County Highway W and T.
