THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Vendors that believe they can provide the specialized services listed in the attached scope of work are invited to submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. NASS intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract, and as a result of the contract, NASS will receive a list of services from Tumult Labs.
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) is exploring innovative methodology to modernize the statistical disclosure limitation techniques applied to the Census of Agriculture and Survey data. Specifically, differential privacy (DP) is to be explored as a solution, and NASS wants to evaluate the feasibility of using DP.
