The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist by determining if this effort can be successfully competed and/or set-aside for Small Businesses. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325413 – In-Vitro Diagnostics Substance Manufacturing 1,250 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement.
The Government is interested in all large and small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West (MRCO-W), JBSA, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to establish a Nitric Oxide Gas Contract for the Department of Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), JBSA – Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
This requirement is for the purchase of Inhaled Nitric Oxide (iNO) used in the various clinics to improve oxygenation in patients. Inomax is the brand name for inhaled nitric oxide (iNO). Nitric oxide (NO) is a naturally occurring gas produced in the body. It plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, most importantly in the regulation of blood vessel tone and blood flow.
This requirement shall consists of (a) the pharmaceutical drug INOmax® (nitric oxide) for inhalation (“INOmax”), (b) a delivery device meeting the criteria for the administration of INOmax set forth in the product label for INOmax (the “Delivery Device”), (c) various maintenance and calibration items, accessories, and disposables, (d) training, maintenance, pick-up and delivery, and other services, as described herein, including, without limitation, reimbursement support services.
Period of Performance: 1 January 2026 - 31 December 2030, One base year plus four (4) option years. This is not a solicitation. This information is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparation or participation in this research.
