Vitros XT3400 Chemistry Analyzer and Reagents

THIS IS A SYNOPSIS. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL – Defense Health Agency (DHA) Northeastern Markets Contracting Division (NM-CD) on behalf of Naval Health Clinic, Quantico (NHCQ) intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. located at, 1001 Us Highway 202 Raritan, New Jersey 08869-1424.

The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, FAR 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source. The contract is for a cost-per-test or cost-per-reportable service contract for one (1) Vitros XT 3400 Analyzer, Laboratory, Chemistry, reagents, quality control, maintenance, and consumables for Naval Health Clinic, Quantico (NHCQ).

The contracted unit shall be capable of performing general chemistry testing for a minimum annual workload of 10,000 specimens. The analyzer shall be capable of preforming the tests listed in the Statement of Work (SOW) with the minimum workload indicated. The vendor shall provide installation, conduct validation testing, on-site and off-site user training and preventive maintenance coverage.

The analyzer validation includes normal range verification, demonstration of linearity, reportable range, replication studies, recovery studies and establishment of initial control ranges using control materials. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 25413 In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1250 Employees.
