USDA Forest Service - 20##-20## National Mobile Food Service Unit (MFSU) Support

This Request for Information (RFI) for National Mobile Food Services will not result in awards. Industry input on potential revisions to the current National Mobile Food Services (MFS) Unit support for the 2025-2029 iteration related to:

1) An EPA clause for transportation 2) Updates to Dispatch Procedures 3) Daily Minimum Guarantee 4) Supporting (Food Service) to Spike Camps 5) Dispatch Minimum Number - SOW - D.1.1(e) Ordering Requirements - Any time mobile food services are needed for federal wildland fire incidents in the western United States, the Federal Wildland Fire Agencies, hereinafter referred to as the Government, are obligated to order services from the National MFSU Contractors any time (a) the number of people to be fed is at or above 150 persons per meal and; (b) the headcount is estimated to remain at those numbers, or greater, for at least 72 hours from when the headcount first reaches 150 per meal, provided that the Contractor can reasonably meet the incident’s needs and required time frames.

A solicitation for commercial, performance based, multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with fixed-price Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) for meal services may be posted at a future date should it be determined in the government’s best interests.
