Intent to Sole Source- USCGC STRATTON- Appleton Marine Chest Pack Controller

In accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to APPLETON MARINE, INC. The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to APPLETON MARINE, INC located at 3030 E Pershing St. Appleton, Wisconsin 54911. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. APPLETON MARINE, INC is the sole source capable of providing the required chest pack and components to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 10:00 AM PST on 12 July 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
