Government Publishing Office (GPO) CAT 1 and CAT 5 Elevators complete support inspections service.

The scope of this work is to provide the elevator inspector with complete assistance during CAT 1 and CAT 5 inspections. The contractor shall be familiar with CAT 1 and CAT 5 elevator inspections and procedures so that the contractor can provide complete assistance for the successful CAT1 and CAT5 inspections performed by the elevator inspectors. The contractor must be able to operate the elevator as requested by the safety inspector.

Although GPO employees will be present, the GPO employee cannot do anything other than escort the elevator inspector and the contractor to each elevator location. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, appropriate weights, materials, and supervision necessary to assist the elevator inspectors for successful elevator inspection on all elevators listed herein at the 732 N. Capitol NW Washington DC 20401 and 735 N Capitol NE Washington DC 20401.
