Notice of Intent - Sole Source

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the US Government (USG) to initiate a contract for a Sole Source procurement action: Repackaging and Shipping of the decommissioned Solar Battery Backup units (Tesla Powerwall lithium residential backup battery packs, Tesla Gateways, PV panels, Enphase alternating current microinverters and other required accessories) from the U.S Embassy and consulates in South Africa and complete Installation at the U.S Embassy residences in Lusaka, Zambia.

This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The services will be provided in Lusaka, Zambia.

This is not a request for proposal and the intent of this notice is to meet regulatory disclosure requirements, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Department.
