Replace 2 Air Handling Units at the National Agricultural Library

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0412 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Replacing two existing Air Handling Units at the National Agricultural Library, 10301 Baltimore Ave, Beltsville, MD 20705. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. The small business size standard is $19M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. A mandatory site visit is required to be technically acceptable. Information is provided within the SF-1442/solicitation for location, date, and time.

Questions shall be submitted via emailed to david.hildebrand@usda.gov and are due no later than April 21, 2026 at 5:00PM EST. This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends. No technical questions will recieve a response until after the site visit.
