Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West, intends to award a sole source contract with GETINGE USA Sales for a Full Service Maintenance Contract for the government owned Getinge Circulatory Assist Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps located in the OR and in Cardiology at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center. , under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) Only one source reasonably available (e.g, urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization), for William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Ft Bliss, Texas.

The sole source contract will have a period of performance is 23 Sept 2024 – 22 Sept 2025 plus four option years. The NAICS code 811210, size standard is $34M. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.

The solicitation number is W81K00-24-Q-0112 and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 5 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
