Thermo Scientific Lab Equipment Maintenance & Repair for the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and using the procedures of FAR Part 13—Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is W81K00-24- Q-0122 and it is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only RFQ that will be posted. A separate written solicitation document will be not be issued.

This solicitation is for provision of maintenance and repair services for Thermo Scientific lab equipment located at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811210 with a small business size standard of $34,000,000.00. This acquisition is being conducted as a small business set-aside. All eligible businesses may submit a quote.

The Point of Contact (POC) for this RFQ is Contract Specialist Rob Knight, robert.h.knight.civ@health.mil. Questions regarding this RFQ may be submitted via e-mail to the POC no later than Tuesday, 1 October 2024, 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Questions submitted after this deadline will not be considered. Answers may be sent via e-mail or posted via solicitation amendment, in the sole discretion of the Government.

Quoters shall reference the following FAR Provisions and their Addendums in the solicitation to prepare and submit their quote: FAR Provision 52.212-1-Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items and its Addendum; and FAR Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation—Commercial Items and its Addendum. Quotes are due to the POC via e-mail by Friday, 4 October 2024, 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time. The date/time stamp of the e-mail will be used to determine the timeliness of the quote.

Quoters are wholly responsible for ensuring timely receipt of their quote by the Government. Quotes received after the deadline will not be considered. Quotes shall contain the following information: Business Name (including d/b/a if applicable):
