A SOURCES-SOUGHT IS A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL BEING USED TO DETERMINE AVAILABILITY AND ADEQUACY OF POTENTIAL BUSINESS SOURCES PRIOR TO DETERMINING THE METHOD OF ACQUISITION. The intent of this sources-sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist by determining if this effort can be successfully competed and/or set-aside for small businesses. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance Sequence #:
1293, 2022 NAPCS Code: 51504010102 maintenance and repair services for precision electronic medical equipment. The size standard is $34.0M. THE GOVERNMENT WILL USE THIS INFORMATION TO DETERMINE THE BEST ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR THIS PROCUREMENT. The government is interested in all large and small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. MEDICAL READINESS CONTRACTING OFFICE WEST (MRCO-W) FORT BLISS, TEXAS, is seeking a Period of Performance (PoP) (anticipated) as 01 May 2024 (Tentative) to 30 April 2025 plus two option years.
Base Year: 01 May 2024 thru 30 April 2025. Option Year One (1): 01 May 2025 thru 30 April 2026. Option Year Two (2): 01 May 2026 thru 30 April 2027. THIS REQUIREMENT IS EXPECTED TO RESULT IN THE AWARD OF A SINGLE FIRM-FIXED PRICE CONTRACT. The anticipated period of performance is a base year with two option years. This is a new requirement; the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.
Contractors responding to the sources sought notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT REIMBURSE ANY COMPANY OR INDIVIDUAL FOR ANY EXPENSE ASSOCIATED WITH PREPARATION OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS RESEARCH. THE MEDICAL READINESS CONTRACTING OFFICE - WEST, TEXAS, IS SEEKING POTENTIAL SOURCES TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE AND SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE CERUS INTERCEPTTM BLOOD SYSTEM LOCATED AND OWNED BY WILLIAM BEAUMONT ARMY MEDICAL CENTER (WBAMC), FORT BLISS, TEXAS.
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform services as described in the PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) and associated contract documents, except for those items specified in Part 3 Government Property and Services. The Contractor shall perform to the standards and acceptable quality levels identified in this PWS and associated contract documents.
