The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist by determining if this effort can be successfully competed and/or set-aside for Small Businesses. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541380 - Testing Laboratories and Services, SBA Small Business Size Standard: $19 Million. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement.
The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to provide Calibration and Temperature Mapping of Autoclaves.
The Government’s requirement is seeking potential sources to provide Calibration and Temperature Mapping, for the Food Analysis & Diagnostics Laboratory (FADL), Brooke Army Medical Center, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Salient characteristics which will be used to provide Calibration and temperature mapping will conform to ISO 17025:2017 standards to demonstrate specified levels of uniformity throughout the autoclave chamber in support of Food Analysis & Diagnostics Laboratory needs are listed below:
The vendor must be accredited under ISO 17025:2017. The report must show the ISO 17025:2017 symbol and certificate number. For in-house calibration and temperature mapping, the vendor must be able to schedule the service with the customer within eight (8) weeks of notification AND complete the service no more than two (2) working days. The vendor must be able to provide reports that are acceptable under ISO 17025:2017 and American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). This is not a solicitation.
