The Fort Cavazos Hood Health Contracting Branch Medical Readiness Contracting Office–West (MRCO-West) MEDCOM, Fort Cavazos, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Dornier MedTech America, Inc. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 United States Code 2304 (c) (1) implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.601(b)(1), For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold.

Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).

This requirement to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include parts, labor on the Dornier Compact Delta II Imaging system and Genesis Imaging System s for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Ft Cavazos on or about 08 June 2024. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored.

A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
