Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Fort Cavazos Health Contracting Branch, Fort Cavazos, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source Contract to Vantive US Healthcare LLC under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency,exclusive licensing Agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.

To purchase continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) system, a type of dialysis that removes waste, toxins, and excess fluid from the blood when a patient's kidneys are not functioning properly, often in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting.

The CRRT machines that are required by the Government needs to have Cytokine storm and/or Intraluken filtration and removal system which is called Patient Fluid Removal (PFR) Catch-up for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Cavazos, Texas 76544. The applicable NAICS code forthis requirement is 334510, and the size standard is 1250. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.

All responsible sources may submit a capabilitystatement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement.

No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Fort Cavazos Health Contracting Branch intends to make a sole source award to Vantive US Healthcare LLC 1 Baxter PKWY Deerfield, IL 60015-4625 .
