Preventive Maintenance of Draeger Anesthesia Units and Ventilators

Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West (M RCO-W), Army Health Contracting Activity, MEDCOM, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Draeger, Inc. under authority of FAR§ 13.106-l(b)(l), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.

This is for Software Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance for Draeger Anesthesia and Ventilators to support the Brooke Army Community Hospital (BAMC), Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Award will be on or about 20 March 2026. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811210, "Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance". The Small Business Size Standard is $34.0 MIL. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes.

No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for Software and Preventive Maintenance Services to support the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Fort Sam Houston, TX. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West (MRCO-W) intends to make a sole source award to Draeger, Inc, 3135 Quarry Rd., Telford, PA 18969.
