The purpose of this Amendment is to add an option year to the Solicitation and extend the due date for quotes, provide answers to questions asked by vendors, request that vendors fill out and return the attached representations re. FAR 52.204-24 & FAR 52.204-26, and state that award will be made as a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order

The due date for quotes is extended to Monday, March 24, 2025, at 12:00pm MT. Please fill out and return the attached representations regarding FAR 52.204-24 & FAR 52.204-26 with your quote. The purchase order type will be Firm-Fixed-Price. Please provide a firm-fixed-price quote for a Base Year + 1 Option Year. Options are exercised subject to continued need and the availability of funding. The Period of Performance is an estimate only.

1. Is this a brand-new contract OR was or is there an incumbent performing these services? If not brand new, could you please provide the current or previous contract number?

Answer: The last PO ended in 2023. The award number was 140G0321F0104.

2. Confirm whether there is an incumbent contractor for this contract. If so, could you kindly provide the Purchase Order number and the total contract value? The last PO ended in 2023. The award number was 140G0321F0104. The amount of the base year award was $15,106.00, and option year one was exercised for $15,559.00.

3. There are 2 different required wages, are we required to pay the $20.41/hr or the $17.75/hr? Contractors should pay in accordance with the Ada County Idaho Wage Determination# 2015-5503 as seen on page SAM.gov and on page 26 of the Clauses and Provisions attachment to this Solicitation. The rate of $20.41 is a Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires for informational purposes only. Executive Order 14026 Increasing the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors which established the $17.75 per hour rate was rescinded on March 14, 2025, by a Presidential Action.

4. Could you confirm if there will be any changes to the requirements compared to the previous contract, or if they will remain the same? This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03, effective 17 January 2025. This acquisition is set-aside for small business. DESCRIPTION The U.S. Geological Survey Idaho Water Science Center (IDWSC) requires Janitorial Services as described in the attached Performance Work Statement. The USGS requires a base year + 1 option year. SUBMISSION OF QUOTES All services will be performed at the IDWSC in Boise, ID.

RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561720 defined as Janitorial Services and associated size standard $22.0 million applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code S201 defined as Housekeeping - Custodial Janitorial.
