NIPPON MA-3000 DIRECT MERCURY ANALYZER, BRAND NAME OR EQUAL REQUEST FOR QUOTE INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-05, effective 22 May 2024. This acquisition is set-aside for small business. DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey - Forest and Rangeland Ecosystems Science Center of Corvallis, OR requires a mercury analyzer as described by the attached Salient Characteristics.

Proposals must be submitted FOB Destination shipping to Corvallis, OR 97331. RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 which is defined as "analytical laboratory instrument manufacturing," and associated size standard of 1,000 employees applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code 6640, which is defined as "laboratory equipment and supplies." Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Buyer at eadam@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 06/18/2024 at 6:00am PDT.
