Zircon Analysis REQUEST FOR QUOTE INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-03 effective 02/23/2024. This acquisition is open market. DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey, Western Mineral and Environmental Research Science Center, requires a Zircon Analysis as described in the attached Statement of Work. All services will be performed at the location of the awardee.

RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541380, Testing Laboratories, and associated size standard 19 applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code B517 Special Studies/Analysis Geological All questions must be sent directly to rlujan@usgs.gov by 04/15/2024. Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contract Specialist at rlujan@usgs.gov.

All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than at 04/20/2024 at 0800 central time. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered. Offerors are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Statement of Work (see Attachment).
