Synopsis/Solicitation Combination INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-06, effective 04 December 2023. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 334516, ¿Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing¿, with an associated size standard of 1,000 employees. SPECIFICATION The U.S. Geological Survey, Western Mineral and Environmental Resources Science Center requires a Micro XRF System.
