AST Supplies for NARMS - Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price IDIQ Contract to Thermo Fisher Scientific for AST Supplies using the Sensititre portfolio, in support of the Office of Public Health and Safety (OPHS). This notice is not a formal solicitation.

However, interested responsible sources may submit a capability statement for the agency’s consideration in determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted in the future for this requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
