This is a source’s sought notice as a means of conducting market research. The USDA APHIS is seeking all interested sources capable of providing Zinc Phosphide 82% Technical. The USDA APHIS is considering the use of a five-year FFP Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.

The size standard for this NAICS code is 1150 employees for determination of small business status. Product Service Code is 6850. The specifications for the product are as follows.

Specifications: Zinc Phosphide 82% Technical or Equivalent - EPA CAS Number 1314-84-7 Purpose: The Pocatello Supply Depot (PSD) manufactures several bait products used to control nuisance pests. Zinc phosphide is used in several of the pesticides manufactured at the Pocatello Supply Depot.

There is no solicitation currently. This is only a source’s sought notice for market research purposes; responses will be used to determine the procurement method for this requirement. Please note that preference will be given to domestic sources in any future solicitations. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quote.
