The New York District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract through the Invitation to Bid (IFB) for the construction an In-Flight Interceptor Communications System (IFICS) Data Terminal (IDT) Shielded Auxiliary (Aux) Power Generation Facility (Emergency).

The scope of work includes construction of an In-Flight Interceptor Communications System (IFICS) Data Terminal (IDT) Shielded Auxiliary (Aux) Power Generation Facility (Emergency). Primary facilities include generator, enclosure, automatic transfer switch(s), Switchgear, lightning protection features, and equipment grounding/bonding. Special Construction includes High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP)/ElectroMagnetic Interference (EMI) shielding in accordance with MIL-STD-188-125.

Project also includes utilities, fire protection and alarm systems, mechanical and electrical systems, heating and cooling, and pavements, walks, and curbs. Low Impact Development Integrated Management Practices (LID-IMPs) measures will be provided. Measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards will be provided. Cyber Security Measures will be incorporated into this project.
