The scope of work includes construction of an In-Flight Interceptor Communications System (IFICS) Data Terminal (IDT) Shielded Auxiliary (Aux) Power Generation Facility (Emergency). Primary facilities include generator, enclosure, automatic transfer switch(s), Switchgear, lightning protection features, and equipment grounding/bonding. Special Construction includes High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP)/ElectroMagnetic Interference (EMI) shielding in accordance with MIL-STD-188-125. Project also includes utilities, fire protection and alarm systems, mechanical and electrical systems, heating and cooling, and pavements, walks, and curbs.
