Fort Jackson Computer Aided Dispatch Database (CAD) Repair Services

Synopsis: Fort Jackson Computer Aided Dispatch Database (CAD) Repair and Sustainment Services requirement. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.

The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential HUBZone, Small Businesses and Service-Disabled Veteran Sources, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a), Women Owned Businesses or large business interest in the Greater Columbia, SC region. Contractor's status will be verified through SAM and SBA. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond.

The MICC-Fort Jackson may issue a solicitation and award of a contract for “Fort Jackson Computer Aided Dispatch Database (CAD) Repair Services,” subject to availability of funds. The MICC-Fort Jackson is seeking qualified, experienced and capable sources with certified technicians who possess the skills, training, and technical know-how of performing Fort Jackson Computer Aided Dispatch Database (CAD) Repair and Sustainment Services.

It appears the software for the CAD system is proprietary and written in a proprietary programming language, which leads to only one contractor, Hexagon US Federal, Inc., who is considered the only source who can meet the needs of repairing and sustaining the database. Full details are provided in the attached performance work statement.

The place of performance is the Fort Jackson South Carolina 29207. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal no later than 6 Mar 2024 by completing and signing the Source Sought Information Request Form (link to form below).
