LCR Network Equipment - CHESS

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground - Natick Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Solider Center (DEVCOM-SC), intends to award on a brand name basis under AFARS 5139.101-90, Policy, for LCR network equipment; a Firm Fixed Price delivery order is being sought under the Army’s Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) program schedule, which is a mandatory source of IT-related requirements for the Army.

Natick Contracting Division anticipates awarding a delivery order to the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Offeror that maintains a schedule under ITES-3H, and that is capable of providing the desired equipment outlined on the attached Justification and Approval (J&A) document (see Attachment 1). This is not a request for quotes. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111.
