Genesis Foods Platform Software and Support Services

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a brand name, sole source basis to ESHA Research LLC DBA Trustwell, located at 4747 Skyline RD S STE 100, Salem, Oregon 97306-5700, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).

The requirement is for the purchase of Genesis Nutritional Analysis Software, maintenance and support. ESHA Research DBA Trustwell is the only known vendor of the Genesis Foods Software.

The Government is seeking the renewal of this software with ESHA Research LLC as seeking out alternatives would have a significant detrimental effect on the Armed Forces Recipe Services (AFRS) team’s ability to meet project milestones, mission goals, project outcomes and deliveries due to the need for duplicate training and database re-organization. This duplicate labor is estimated at roughly 70% of the acquisition cost of this effort and is not expected to be recovered through competition.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 513210 and the size standard is $47,000,000.00. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available.
