The requirement is for the purchase of Genesis Nutritional Analysis Software, maintenance and support. ESHA Research DBA Trustwell is the only known vendor of the Genesis Foods Software. The Government is seeking the renewal of this software with ESHA Research LLC as seeking out alternatives would have a significant detrimental effect on the Armed Forces Recipe Services (AFRS) team’s ability to meet project milestones, mission goals, project outcomes and deliveries due to the need for duplicate training and database re-organization. This duplicate labor is estimated at roughly 70% of the acquisition cost of this effort and is not expected to be recovered through competition.
