ANAD RETIREMENRT TRAINING

The Government has a need for a non-personal services contract to provide Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) and Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) Pre-Retirement Seminars with Financial and Tax Planning as well as FERS Benefits and Financial Literacy Seminars for New Employees (FERS-NE). The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein.

The purpose of this training is to ensure Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) employees in both CSRS and FERS Retirement Systems have the knowledge needed to make a conscientious decision on retirement and financial planning. This training is a supplement to any retirement and pre-retirement training currently provided by the Army Benefits Center ?

Civilian (ABC-C), Civilian Human Resource Agency (CHRA), to ANAD employees and will not serve as a replacement for, or offer the same training as, those training services already provided by ABC-C, CHRA. Additionally, many of ANAD?s employees do not have computer access to attend webinars via the internet, so it is required that any training sessions provided pursuant to this contract be provided live, in-person, and on-site, at ANAD. This contract is intended to have a base year with four option year.
