FTG258 Missile Field 3 Power Redundancy - Brand Name Items

SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATIONS IN A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT – FTG258 MISSILE FIELD 3 POWER REDUNDANCY, FORT GREELY, ALASKA - AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on Fort Greely, Alaska.

A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions.” Items: 1. ASCO/SquareD Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).

The Mechanical Electrical Buildings (MEBs) on the Missile Defense Complex have been adding power redundancy to the Silo Interface Vaults (SIVs) by adding ATSs to have alternate power sources. The ATSs are new installs that must fit in the designated area and must meet the equipment withstand current rating (WCR) requirement. THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.

No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of a FY24 solicitation for a Sustainment Restoration Modernization (SRM) project on Fort Greely, Alaska. Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all of the above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information:

1. Identification of the manufacturer’s name, address, and country of product manufacture.

2. Fully detailed specification sheets.
