Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for proprietary custom fabricated machined fit to the 50-gallon mixer with precision specifications made with compatible materials to the mixer and our mixing ingredients that have been reviewed and authorized for safe operations for use at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant.

Only one authorized supplier, Prescott Machine, only authorized provider of proprietary custom fabricated item has the material and technical ability for precise compatibility and performance to match exact operating system. Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers.

A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
