Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for installation of anechoic chamber absorber materials for two (2) TMRE/TMRF Hawk Test chambers, for use at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. Only one authorized supplier, ETS-Lindgren Inc, the only sourced vendor allowed confidential drawing and specifications for this material, as it cannot be shared outside of Raytheon sourced vendor.

Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
