Vehicle Transponders for use with Multi-State Electronic Tolling System

Synopsis - Vehicle Transponders for use in Multi-State Electronic Tolling Systems The US Army, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is contemplating a sole source award to BestPass Inc, 500 Karmer Road, Albany, NY 12205 to provide vehicle transponders with accounts for use in multi-state electronic toll transponder systems, primarily in the New England and Mid-Atlantic state regions. The funding shall be provided using Government Purchase Cards (GPC) under a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).

The following features are desired: -Establishment of pre-loaded accounts (with manual replenishment capability), -Online access, -Automatic notification when pre-loaded funds fall below the replenishment thresholds (which may occur daily, until pre-loaded funds are replenished), -A method of receiving an initial number of transponders and additional transponders (with new accounts, or added to existing accounts), as new demands materialize, -Capability for using transponders in both Government owned vehicles and commercial rental vehicles. The contemplated BPA would include a base year of performance, plus four option years for additional performance terms.
