Subscription with Integrative Materials Design Center (iMdc) - Integrative Materials DC

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (CCNJ), on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command – Armament Center (DEVCOM AC), located at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote (RFQ) to Worcester Polytechnic Institute, 100 Institute Road, Worcester, MA 01609-2280 to purchase one (1) year subscription to the Government to provide expert data, reports, and recommendations on specific projects related to materials, materials science, materials processing, additive manufacturing, fatigue, and/or fracture mechanics.

The delivery date for the required one (1) year subscription is 01 January 2025 TO 31 December 2026. This is a Sole Source RFQ. In accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). A Sole Source Justification was approved on August 15, 2024 pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) asserting that Worcester Polytechnic Institute is the only source capable of providing the required one (1) year subscription to the Government.

The applicable NAICS Code for this effort is 541715 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) and is meant to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201, which requires a notice of intent to be posted at the time a solicitation is issued. Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFP/RFQ and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government.
