Sole Source Notice of Intent for FMS case DT-B-WAQ for MTCS

The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Division D, APG, MD 21005 intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price (FFP) contract utilizing 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. The Government intends to award a sole source contract to L3Harris Technologies Inc., 1350 Jefferson Road, Rochester, NY 14610, CAGE Code: 7QAK7.

This requirement is for the delivery of five (5) MTCSs, Integrated Area Comms System Shelter - S-788, Part Number: 11470-2020-01. Delivery shall be made no later than September 2024. This procurement is in support of the Communications Electronics Command Security Assistance Management Directorate (CECOM-SAMD). At the present time, L3Harris Technologies is the only known source for manufacturing and reselling the aforementioned MTCS.
