PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract with Peak Scientific Inc., to purchase repair services for Peak Scientific Genius 3022 gas generator.

Location: 19 Sterling Road, Suite-1, Billerica, MA. 01862 The FBI, Laboratory Division (LD), Chemistry Unit (CU), has a requirement to repair services for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s ARL QUANT’X. Peak Scientific Inc. is the sole provider for service, OEM parts, technical support, and contractual maintenance for all Peak Scientific gas generators located within the North American territory. This includes, but is not limited to, the two Genius 3022 units located at our facility.

Peak Scientific Inc. does not train, nor authorize, any other organizations within North America to service or maintain Peak Scientific gas generators. Justification available upon request. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's System for Awards Management website (www.SAM.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.

The North American Classification System Code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing and Product Service Code, 6640, Laboratory Equipment and Supplies. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, per FAR 5.207(16)(ii) all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and/or capabilities statement to this requirement by contacting Contracting Officer, Adelle Bolton by email at albolton@fbi.gov no later than 05:00 PM EST on 05/09/2024. Responses sent utilizing other means will not be considered. Information received will be used solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government. Vendors shall be registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM.gov) to receive government contracts. The FBI uses a financial system that has a direct interface with SAM. Please ensure that your company's SAM information is updated and accurate. This includes TIN, EFT, UEI, addresses, and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment.
