ExaGrid Information Technology Backup System Manintenancee

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(2) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT (NAME BRAND) pursuant to FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC - APG), Installation and Technology Division, 6472 Integrity Ct., Building 4401, Aberdeen proving Ground, MD 21005, has a requirement for maintenance ExaGrid Model EX27 information technology information backup system. The Contractor shall provide ExaGrid Model EX27 maintenance services, which includes hardware replacement, remote diagnosis and software support, firmware updates, as well as onsite hardware repair if it is required to resolve an issue.

The Contractor shall provide remote technical support and access to all software patches, updates, upgrades when requested by the government. The Contractor shall provide next business day (Monday through Friday) services during the business hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. except Contractor and Federal Holidays. The Contractor shall use commercially reasonable efforts to respond in person and onsite the next business day for incidents with covered hardware that cannot be resolved remotely.
