Hexagon Romer Arms PM & Calibration Services

The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc., 250 Circuit Dr., North Kingstown, RI 02852-7441 (Cage Code 1WUK4) on a Sole Source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services wil satisfy agency requirements.

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) Southwest has a requirement for Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Calibration services, and as needed repairs of a Government owned asset located at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) for three (3) ROMER Absolute Arms. Hexagon Manufacturing is the only known qualified source capable of satisfying the Government's specific requirements and mission for this procurement. Hexagon is the OEM and does not utilize third party services for its MyCare service agreements.

Any inability to procure these services would cause an unacceptable delay in operations at FRCSW. For this reason, the Government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc. However, all responsible sources my submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
